St Mary’s S.S Kitende held Uganda Premier League side Proline to a one-all draw at the St Mary’s stadium in a pre-season match on Tuesday.

Midfielder cum striker Fahad Bayo scored the opening goal in the match to give the visitors the lead against the run of play.

Second half substitute, Kennedy Kasozi replied for Proline as the two sides shared the spoils.

The game was the final friendly for St Mary’s S.S Kitende ahead of the 2017 East Africa Secondary School games (FEASSSA) coming up in Gulu District.

On the other hand, Proline optimally used the buildup as one of the first test matches ahead of the official kick off for the 2017-18 season.

The new season will kick off on 8th September 2017 with the FUFA Super Cup between SC Villa and the reigning champions KCCA Football Club.
