Guinea beat Libya 3-2 to earn their maiden win of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign at the Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry.
German based forward Naby Deco Keita of RB Leipzig F.C side gave the home side an 8th minute lead.
Aboubacar Demba Camara of Anorthosis Famagusta FC Football club in Cyprus doubled the lead 15 minutes later to lead 2-0 heading to the mandatory half way mark.
Keita failed to score a penalty in the 73rd minute that would stretched the lead.
The visitors pulled a goal back through Motasem Sabbou, making it 2-1 before Akram Zuway equalized.
The night’s hero was Aboubacar Bangoura with a 93rd minute winner for the famous victory.
Guinea now has 3 points from three games.
The other group A game will be played on Friday. Joint leaders Democratic Republic of Congo and Tunisia, both with 6 points face off in Tunis.
Libya will host Guinea in the return leg on Monday, 4th September 2017.
