The lady Cricket Cranes made two wins out 2 games after they defeated their East African counterparts Tanzania by 7 wickets.

The ladies followed up their 21 run win against Namibia yesterday by defeating old nemesis Tanzania by 7 wickets.

The bowling set up the win for Uganda after Tanzania was restricted to only 78/7 with all bowlers being economical Getrude Chandiru (4/12) the stand out but she got good support from reigning female cricketer of the year Stephanie Nampiina (1/15).

In the chase Rachel Ntono (21) and Saidat Kemigisha (29) had a 32 run opening stand which gave Uganda a base to knock off the deficit easily, losing only 3 wickets.

The ladies take on arch energy Kenya tomorrow.

Uganda named an unchanged team from the Namibia win with Carol Namugenyi, Mary Nalule and Janet Mbabazi yet to feature for Uganda.
