Ugandan striker Benson Rahim Ociti has signed a two-year deal with Rwanda Premier League side Kiyovu Football Club.
Kiyovu beat off stiff competition from Etincelles, AS Kigali and Police who were also interested in the services of the forward.
Police F.C has earlier envisaged his potentiality during a friendly match the club had against a Ugandan Select side in Kigali.
Although the Select side lost 4-2 on the day, Ociti scored a brace to attract the scouts from Police and finally Kiyovu who had the biggest bargain for the player.
Ociti crossed over from Kenya Premier outfit Chemelil Sugar F.C after a mutual agreement to terminate his employment contract over a breach of contract by the club.
The big center forward eyes a successful spell in Rwanda with an outstanding performance to achieve personally and inspire the club, as well as use the opportunity as a stepping stone to considered for the Uganda Cranes duty.
I have three ambitions at the moment. I will keep the focus to achieve personally, help the club and as well, work hard to be summoned for Uganda Cranes duty
In Uganda, Ociti has played at Police, URA FC and Soana.
The Rwanda Premier League will kick off on Friday, 29th September 2017.
