Fred Kajoba has promised to fine midfielder Jimmy Kakooza aka Kacanga for the red card he got against Vipers.

The hard tackling midfielder was sent off after just thirteen minutes into the game and the hosts had to play over 80 minutes with a man less to earn a point.

Although Kajoba, just like his opposite number Miguel Da Costa admit the referee was harsh on the player, he says will be fined.

“He made us suffer for a point with less numbers,” stated Kajoba. “That’s unacceptable and he will be fined. I am going to fine him because that was careless,” he added.

On the game itself, the Uganda Cranes goalkeeping coach said his team deserved a point and heaped praise on debutant Hamza Muwonge in goal for keeping them in the game.

Credit to the boys for they fought hard and deserved a point. But Muwonge was man of the match for me and as you know, goalkeeping is a big department I consider.

Before the game, the former Simba tactician warned that he never loses to Vipers and it came to pass before promised to frustrate them again in Kitende.

I told you, Vipers can’t win against me. And they won’t even in Kitende unless they play with 13 players.

On the referee’s performance, the gaffer admitted his side were lucky not to concede a penalty but also said Kakooza shouldn’t been sent off.

Like the coach said, it wasn’t a red card but we also survived a penalty. I think the referee made two mistakes.

The stalemate was the sixth in nine topflight meetings between the two sides.
