The Christopher Shale XI has made some late big signings for the Cricket Builds Hope final to be played tomorrow afternoon at the Gahanga.

Sam Billings a full England international featured in the exhibition game for the Micheal Vaughan XI and Hersh Gibbs a South African legend who has a record for hitting 6 6’s in the World Cup against Netherlands will both feature for the Chris Shale XI that will be taking on the Uganda Select XI in the final.

This goes to show how much this means to the Chris Shale XI, who conceived the idea for a modern cricket facility for Rwanda. Even though he passed on before this became a reality his son Aly Shale has been able to see that his fathers dream comes to pass and if they win the final tomorrow it will be a perfect reward to a great man.

Though retired Gibbs was vintage in his brief cameo in the middle, Sam Billings delivered some nasty blows opening the batting for the Micheal Vaughan XI and took a blinder at long on to dismiss Gibbs so team Uganda will need to be at their best.

The Uganda Select XI remains confident though and will be going in hard.
