Enock Wanyenze starred with a well taken hat-trick in Wakoko’s 3-0 comprehensive victory against Kigai during one of the group of 16 stage matches in the inaugural  edition of the Bamasaaba Bikuka Tubaana sports tournament.

The Makerere University student scored thrice for Wakoko to witness his clan progress to the quarter final stage.

Else where, Lutsekhe needed a tense 2-0 post match penalty victory over Tandiga. Goalkeeper Peter Kutosi grabbed all the headlines for the right reason having saves four penalties.

Normal time of this match ended failed to produce any goal reward.

Mukonde also progressed to the last 8 stage with a 4-2 victory in post match penalties over Muyobo. Herbert Wambedde and Allan Makweta missed their kicks for Muyobo.

Nasur Nandala Zambrotta missed for Mukonde who lost the services of Robert Magomu through injury.

In the netball games held, Wakoko smiled to a 22-11 win against Kigai, Lutsekhe humiliated Tandiga 20-1 on Saturday.

During Sunday’s netball games,  Wangokho ejected Halasi 20 – 12 and Lago smiled to a 17- 5 win against Mumbo

Meanwhile, according to Ronnie Wabomba, the tournament official mouth piece, the round of 16 game continue over the weekend with number of games.

The tournament is organized by an umbrella body which brings together Masaaba communities in both Uganda and Kenya.

Relatedly, something special awaits the organizers of this tourney as regards sponsorship.
