- Entebbe Ladies 0-9 Nkumba University
- Nkumba University 2-1 Alphoenix Golden Girls
- Katuuso Community 3-2 Talented
The national women beach soccer league returned on Sunday at Lido Beach in Entebbe.
Nkumba University smiled to two victories, one of which was a complete mauling for Entebbe Ladies, 9-0.
In the earlier game, Nkumba University defeated Alphoenix Golden Girls 2-1 with Lillian Mutuuzo grabbing a brace.
Spencer Nakacwa got Alpoenix Golden Girls’ equalizer.
Nkumba University then turned the guns to Entebbe Ladies in the derby match.
Mutuuzo scored an amazing five individual goals to her personal goal account.
Docus Nabuufu and Mary Nakubwa each added a brace for Nkumba University.
“It feels good to score 5 goals as an individual. I thank my coaches and teammates. I will continue training hard to achieve better results in future” Mutuuzo stated after the match.
Elsewhere, Katuuso Community gritted their teeth to defeat Talented 3-2.
Nuluh Nakanzi scored twice and Fatuma Nakasumba for Katuuso Community. Aisha Mbabazi got Talented’s two goals.
The league will return on 3rd December 2017.
