FUFA Big League new comers Ntinda United rallied to earn at least a point off seasoned outfit Synergy at the barren and dusty Kamwokya play ground in Kampala on Thursday.

Ntinda United took a first half lead by Raphael Owinju before Synergy, last season’s losing finalists in the play off made amends in the subsequent half through Oscar Agaba’s well taken penalty.

Two of Synergy’s goals in the closing half were denied by the center referee, decisions that left their head coach Brian Ssengendo very furious.

This was during one of the numerous games played on the day of high scoring matches.

Kira United were the biggest winners on the day, smiling to a 5-1 victory against Kireka United at the Kira Namugongo play ground.

In Bundibunjyo, home side Bumate United pipped Kabale based Kabale Sharp 2-1

Elsewhere, Paidha Black Angels humbled visiting Kataka in Zombo at the Bar Okoro play ground.

Sula Sekamwa, Jackson Nsubuga, Arua Floribert and Rasta Otim were all on target for coach Hussein Kheri’s led side.

Kheri handled his first game since returning from a two month’s suspension.

In Lira, Amuka Bright Stars defeated Agape 2-1 as Water shocked Kasese based Suncity 4-2 in a six goal thriller.

Meanwhile, Busia Fisheries and Bukeadea Town Council shared the spoils in a goal-less encounter played in Busia.

The same result was recorded between Kyetume and visitors, Kamuli Park (former Artland Kamuli Park) in Mukono.

On Friday, 1st December 2017, coach Allan Kabonge Kivewala managed to record a third successive victory when his Lira United edged visiting Doves All Stars from Arua 1-0 at the Lango College play ground.
