Kawempe Muslim kept their hopes of winning the FUFA Women Super League title alive after edging Rines on Saturday.
With just two games left to the end of the season, Kawempe Muslim can only keep winning and hope leaders She Corporate falter somewhere.
Therefore, the Valley Warriors needed maximum points against Rines, which they did by claiming a 2-1 victory.
Jovia Nakagolo and Agnes Nabukenya scored a goal each for the hosts, while Yasmeen Nalukwago got the consolation for Rines.
With She Corporate winning against St. Noa, the status at the top remains unchanged. The Sharks lead with 50 points while Kawempe follow closely on 48 points.
In the penultimate round, Kawempe visit Kampala Queens in Lugogo while She Corporate visit Uganda Martyrs in Lubaga.
On the final day, both teams will be at home, with Kawempe Muslim taking on Olila High School while She Corporate will face She Maroons.
