When Uganda U-20 team takes on the hosts and defending champions of the COSAFA youth U-20 championship, Zambia, it will be an all attack strategy at the Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe town.
The match is one of three games set to open up the annual championship in Zambia.
Uganda head coach Mathias Lule has started an experienced side with Proline’s bowed legged goalie Keni Saidi getting the nod ahead of Ali Mwerusi and Eric Kibowa.
URA’s Fred Okot starts at left back ahead of Andrew Isiagi Okiring as KCCA’s Mustapha Kizza commands a starting slot ahead of Qatar based Victor Matovu.
Vipers’ Geofrey Wasswa and Proline’s Mustapha Mujjuzi are the two central defensive pairing.
Express’ Abubakar Kasule is the anchorman.
Vice captain Julius Poloto (KCCA), Frank ‘Zagga’ Tumwesigye (Vipers), Steven Mukwala (Vipers), Maroons’ left footed Pius ‘TZ Iniesta’ Obuya and the team skipper Muhammed ‘Jaggarson’ Shaban are the attacking options.
Uganda will don the traditional red shirts, black shorts and red stockings.
Zambia, on the other hand will dress in an all green attire.
