Fred Kyambadde has joined Rwanda Premier League outfit Espoir for a two year employment deal.

The former Saints, Wandegeya and Sadolin Paints forward who has of late played at Jinja based club, BUL football club pen pen to paper over the weekend.

In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports from his Rusizi base on Monday, Kyambadde disclosed the urge and willingness to face and fulfill the expectations ahead of him on foreign land;

I have joined Espoir Football Club for a new challenge in life. I am ready to work hard for the good of the club

The hardworking forward, also a sports journalist by training will don shirt 11 while on club duties at Espoir Football Club.

Whereas the time tenure of his deal is clearly well spelt out as two years, the nitty gritty of the financial bit remain muted owing to contractual clauses.

After 10 matches in the opening phase of the season, Espoir is rock bottom on the 16 team log with just 8 points fetched in 10 matches.

The Ugandan is expected to form an enviable partnership with center forward Hussein Renzaho, who already has three goals to his name this term.

He reveals the immediate targets at hand;

With God and hardworking we shall work hard to stay in the league this season. I will score all possible goals to give us points with my teammates.

Espoir travels to Nyagisenyi play ground to face Amaguju on 6th February 2018 as the league returns after the CHAN 2018 break.

On 13th February 2018, they will host Bokota Labama Kamana’s new club Musanze at the Rusizi stadium.

Kyambadde had been destined to join Kiyovu Sports Club at the beginning of the season but the deal stalled at the 11th hour before he penned a new deal with BUL in Uganda.

He joins a bandwagon of of Ugandans plying their trade in the Rwanda top flight league.

Most notably goalkeeper Shamiru Batte and Frank Kalanda turn out for AS Kigali, APR hard working right back Dennis Rukundo signed from Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club.

Others are Ally Mbogo (Kiyovu), Peter Otema (Musanze) and newly signed Rayon Sports creative midfielder, Yasin Mugume who has been playing at Uganda Police Football Club.

There are a couple of nationalized players from Uganda who settled in well in Rwandese clubs as Butera (APR), Farouk ‘Ssentongo’ Ruhinda (Bugesera) among others.
