Ahead of their highly anticipated league game against Mbarara City FC, Police FC have shifted training from Kibuli SS to Mandela National stadium, Namboole.

The Cops host the Ankole Lions on Saturday February 10 at the same venue as they seek to open the second round of the Uganda Premier League with maximum points.

“Starting Thursday February 8, 2018, our training sessions will be at Namboole as we prepare for Mbarara City,” confirmed Abdallah Mubiru, the Cops coach.

“We want to acclimatize with the pitch since it’s been long since we last played there.

Police lost 4-1 to KCCA in a trial game on Wednesday at Lugogo but Mubiru picked positives instead.

“Sometimes it’s good to lose such games to know where to improve. It was a good test for us.

The 2005 league champions won their first competitive game this year when they edged FUFA Big League side, Greater Masaka at Masaka Recreation in the Uganda Cup round of 64.
