Uganda Rugby star Phillip Wokorach will return to full action in the Kenya Cup as his side face Resolution Kisii RFC at the Mamboleo Showground Kisumu on Saturday.

Wokorach had been sidelined due to injury. He sprained his ankle at the Dubai 7s and consequently missed Cape Town 7s.

The former Heathens’ player played 50 minutes in the Eric Shirley Shield and will start the showdown against Kisii.

He will replace former Blak Blad maestro Andrew Gathua who has put up brilliant performances in his absence.

Kabras’ head coach Charles Cardovillis feels Wokorach’s return is timely for his charges.

“He is doing great. He played 50 minutes last week for the 2nds,” he told Ragahouse.

“He’s in great shape and raring to go. He’s really worked hard to get back.”

Several changes have been made to the squad that is expected to start. Countryman Asuman Mugerwa drops to the replacements as Puis Ogena remains in the starting XV.
