As the national team intensifies their preps for World Cup qualifiers, a couple of warm up games have been organised for the side.

The Silverbacks will play in another trial game against a select side tonight at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.

The coaching team of Mandy Juruni, Brian Wathum and Nick Natuhereza had a first look at the team in a game last week, which the Silverbacks lost on the last play.

With the final team to head to Mali for the first phase of the qualifiers set to be named today, players especially the locally based will be out to give their all in a bid to make the final 12.

A couple of foreign based players including Robinson Opong and Josh Johnson joined on Monday and will be doing their first audition.

The team will have another trial game on Thursday before their expected trip for a training camp in West Africa on Friday, February 16.

Uganda will battle rivals and neighbours Rwanda, former African champions Nigeria and hosts Mali in Bamako from February 23-25 with a top three place guaranteeing them a chance to play in the final phase of the qualifiers.
