The influx of Ugandan football in the Zambian football market is escalating day after day.

Close to ten players shall be featuring in the Zambia top tier and second division leagues this coming season.

Former Artland Katale, Lweza, Proline and Sports Club Villa Jogoo player Farouk Musisi is the latest Ugandan to join the Zambian ranks.

Musisi agreed terms with second division outfit, Konkola Blades Football Club for a two year tenure.

In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports, Musisi expressed the desire to work with the rest of the teammates with a goal of seeing the Copper funded club promoted;

I am excited to have joined Konkola Blades Football Club.

I will work hard to ensure that the club is promoted to the top tier league

This comes two days after former KCCA goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan signed with Kabwe Warriors Football Club.

The other players plying their trade in Zambia include former Godfrey Sserunkuma is teammate to former Proline forward Fahad Bayo and Police striker Hood Kaweesa at Buildcon.

Buildcon is currently in Zimbabwe for the pre-season preparations.

Former Police and KCCA midfielder Hakim Ssenkumba is at NAPSA Stars.

Former KCCA left back Joseph Ochaya, goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi and Yakubu Ramathan feature at Lusaka Dynamos.

Most recently, former BUL midfielder Lawrence Ndugga signed for Zambian Police funded club, Nkwanzi F.C.

The Zambian football season shall commence in March 2018.
