King pin defender Yakubu Ramathan has joined the long chain of Ugandan footballers in Zambia.

The 22 year old former AFC Leopards defender in Kenya joined money moguls Lusaka Dynamos Football Club on a two year deal.

Represented by football agent Daniel Ntale, Yakubu sighed with relief upon the feat.

This is a dream come true.

A good stepping stone to my career.

I am ready to work for a slot on the starting team.

I am happy to join such a great club, Lusaka Dynamos.

The club has good players including myself

Yakubu appreciates a couple of personalities in his life who have helped him in a way or another.

I would like to thank my agent Dan (Ntale) and my former boss Dan Mule, the AFC leopards chairman and the players whom i played with for the past years. I also thank the club fans

At Lusaka Dynamos, he joins goalkeeper Yasin ‘Gabis’ Mugabi (represented by players’ agent Musa ‘Atagenda’ Ssebulime) and left back Joseph Benson Ochaya.

Other Ugandans in the Zambia Super League include Fahad Bayo, Abubaker Kasule, Geofrey Sserunkuma and Hood Kaweesa.
