Township Rollers maintained their superb run in the Botswana Premier League with a 4-2 victory against Police at UB Stadium on Friday.

Lemponye Tshireletso opened the scoring in the 21st minute before Motsholetsi Sikele added the second in the 35th minute.

Tshireletso netted the third with a strike on the stroke of half time as the Rollers led 3-0 heading to the half time break.

Segolame Boy scored the fourth and icing on the already baked cake in the 56th minute.

Uganda Cranes hard working midfielder Ivan ‘Kojja’ Ntege was introduced in the 58th minute for Maano Ditshupo.

Ntege was however cautioned in the 64th minute for unsporting conduct.

Former Rollers stars Tapiwa Gadibolae and Kekaetswe Mara Moloi scored two consolation goals for Police.

The Popa Popa club comfortably leads the 16 team log with 40 points from 17 matches.

Township Rollers will travel to Sudan for the return leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round against Al Merriekh on Wednesday, 21st February 2018.

Rollers won the first leg 3-0 at the national stadium in Gaborone.

Former Meat Commissioner defender Mosha Gaolaolwe opened the scoring. Molefeng E. Moalosi and Segolame Boy netted the other goals for the Nikola Kavazovic coached club.
