For starters, Kajoba left for a placement course at the New York Red Bulls Football Club alongside former Uganda Cranes head coach Moses Basena.

In Kajoba’s absence Paul Kiwanuka will once again take the full responsibilities like he has always done when the former is occupied with national team duties.

Come the match proper, Bright Stars will capitalize on the good home run when they take on a desperate club as Express.

Currently 12th with 19 points, Bright Stars is now safer off the relegation politicking as Express sits third from bottom with just 15 points off 17 matches.

Express kicked off the second round with a hard fought goal-less draw at the Green Light stadium in Arua against Onduparaka.

They fought gallantly to win their next home game against BUL 2-0 at Wankulukuku.

Bright Stars fell 1-0 at Namboole stadium in the only match of the second round that they have played so far.

The first round of this battle ended goal-less at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium.

Expected key battles:

Jimmy ‘Kachanga’ Kakooza is a hard battling midfielder at Bright Stars.

Of late, he has been joined by a splendid passer of the ball in Mahad Kiseeka with assured supply of the ball from Farouk Banga, winger John Kokas Opejo, Methiodious Jjunju, Brian Enzama, utility Sula Ssebunza and others joining hand.

Against an Express side that has captain Steven Luswata, Sharif Ochaya, Omar Hitimana and the utility player Ayub Kisaliita, the midfield battle will be as entertaining and a key determinant for the entire match.

Bright Stars have a sharp forward and team leader in Uganda Cranes’ striker Nelson Senkatuka with a steady fast winger in Seif Batte.

The Red Eagles who are coached by Shafik Bisaso look to the robust center forward Alfred Leku and on form Michael Birungi for the much needed goals.

Bright Stars tried and tested Hamza Muwonge is no question a darling to watch in between the goal posts.
