Ronak Patel receives his match cap from Roger Mukasa
Cricket Cranes walk off the field after winning Game 6

The Cricket Cranes are enjoying life on the Sanjay Farm as they managed to roll over two Indian Select sides in two T20 games played yesterday.

The experienced Ronak Patel made his full debut for the Cricket Cranes receiving his match cap from captain Roger Mukasa before the action. He would later play a mature knock as the team wobbled in the chase of the small total of 67 in the second game.

In the first game against the United Cricketers of Baroda, Dinesh Nakrani displayed his all round ability when he scored a team high 32 and picked up 3 wickets with ball in hand. He was supported by the captain Roger Mukasa (21) as the Cricket Cranes won by 4 wickets.

However, the second game against the Stallions XI was very low scoring with only 140 runs scored in both innings. The off spin of Frank Nsubuga and leg spin of Brian Masaba combined picked up 5 wickets between them for just 13 runs in 6 overs.

On a spinning wicket the Stallions scored only 67 runs but the Cricket Cranes crawled to the finish line with 8 balls to spare.

The experience of Ronak Patel saved the blushes of the Cricket Cranes with a match winning 17 and he was the only Cricket Cranes batsman with a double figure score.

The Cricket Cranes will play a 40 over match tomorrow as they wind up the tour on Friday.
