Martin Kizza scored a brace and Yubu Bogere added another SC Villa won 3-0 against URA to reclaim top spot.

Wasswa Bbosa gave Davis Kasirye his first start since his January move and the forward didn’t disappoint in terms of hold up play.

The Jogoos started well in terms of going forward but URA were dominant in possession without creating opportunities.

SC Villa should have been at least two goals up by half time but Ambrose Kirya shot over the bar when Mathias Muwanga parried Kizza cross into his path while Kasirye hit the cross bar.

Bbosa made an instant change after recess with Godfrey Lwesibawa coming off for Yubu Bogere while Paul Nkata made two changes; De Boss Kalama and Nicholas Kagaba came off for Dickson Kigongo and Hudu Muliki respectively.

The deadlock was broken at the hour mark when Kizza made a brilliant run, sold a dummy to URA defenders and shot straight at goal and Muwanga hard little to do.

Kizza added a second from the spot after a controversial penalty when Ambrose Kirya came down under a slight challenge from Muwanga.

Bogere got his first and SC Villa’s third on the day with a fine finish off George Senkaaba low shot cum cross.

The win takes the Jogoos back to the top with 36 points from 18 games while URA are 8th with 22 points.
