- She Mak Vs Rines S.S – Makerere
- Uganda Martyrs Lubaga Vs Kawempe Junior Team – Uganda Martyrs’ High School, Lubaga
- Ajax Queens Vs Wakiso Hills – Buddo S.S
- Katuuso Community Vs Isra Soccer Academy – Officers’ Mess, Makindye
- Bright Light Girls Vs Kampala Juniors Team – Lira Town College
- Gadhafi Intergrated Vs Kawempe Queens – Wambogo, Kawempe
The second edition of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Women Cup preliminary round draws were on held on Wednesday, 28th February 2018.
FUFA Competitions boss Aisha Nalule, flanked by the Executive committee member Hamid Juma conducted the draws at the home of football in Uganda, Mengo.
Sixteen teams shall be in action for the opening round matches with last edition’s quarterfinalists having been given byes to the next round.
The clubs granted byes are; Olila High School, Gafford Ladies, UCU Lady Cardinals, Muteesa I Royal University, Western United, Taggy High School, Kawempe Muslim and She Corporate.
In the preliminary round, Katuuso Community entertains Isra Academy, Ajax Queens will host Wakiso Hills, Lady Doves will play Panyadori Girls, Mwandha Foundationa will take on Bugiri Town View and She Mak will entertain Rines.
Other games will include; Gadhafi International faces Kawempe Queens and Bright Light Girls will lock horns with Kampala Juniors Team.
The finals of this year’s championship will take place in Bushenyi.
Last season, Olila High School defeated Gafford Ladies in the finals to win the inagural edition whose finals were staged in Busia at the Madibira play ground.
