Uganda Crested Cranes captain Hasifa Nassuna believes the team she is leading against Kenyan Haraambe Starlets can work for a decent result away from home.

As quoted by the FUFA website, Nassuna, a UCU lady Cardinals striker who also won the FUFA 2016 female footballer of the year award noted;
They have beaten us twice but that is past. Our present ambition is also to challenge them that we are also good and can also beat them
Nassuna is the team captain in absence of Sandra Nabweteeme. She is assisted by goalkeeper Ruth Aturo as the first and second assistant captains respectively.
Nabweteeme, currently in the United States is among the foreign based players missing on the Ugandan team.
Others are; Fazila Ikwaput and Ritah Nabbosa (both with Gokulam Kerala ladies team in India), Sheriz Natasha (Canada), Jean Sseninde Namayega (Crystal Palace Ladies) and a couple of others.
The team of 30 people (10 officials and 10 peoples) left Kampala (FUFA House) on Sunday at noon by road (with the FUFA Bus) for Nairobi.
Kenya Haraambe Starlets will host Uganda in the first leg of the 2018 African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifier this Wednesday at the Kenyatta stadium in Machakos town.
