Mbarara City Football Club scored at the stroke of full time as the Ankole Lions shared the spoils in a one all draw with Sports Club Villa Jogoo at the Kakyeeka Stadium in Mbarara on Saturday.

The visiting side took the lead on 38 minutes through Yubu Bogere.

Bogere was well stationed to head Allan Kyambadde’s delivery from the right to take command of the game.

The Jogoos missed a couple of scoring opportunities in the second stanza of the game.

Nigerian import Emmanuel Obinna scored a last gasp equalizer following a handball by defender Henry Katongole.

SC Villa Jogoo dearly missed their services of their lead forward Martin Kizza and left back John Adriko as they were suspended.

The Jogoos remain second on the log with 50 points, two behind leaders Vipers with five games to the end of the season.

Mbarara City stays 13th on the table standings with 27 points, a position above the relegation thin line.
