Gift Sebuguzi and Arthur Blick Jr have sealed the 2018 National Motocross titles in the MX50 and MX1 respectively.
Sebuguzi asserted himself yet again in what was a dominant season for the seven-year-old.
Another impressive ride saw him earn a sixth round victory at Garuga for his maiden national MX title.
“The event was good. I had problems with William on the race, but I managed to win again.
“I am happy for the title. I was training so hard with my coach in order to fight for this championship,” said Sebuguzi.
Arthur Blick Jr clinched his first MX1 title after five years. It’s his eleventh career MX1 crown.
Despite Asaf Natan claiming victory in Sunday’s race, Blick’s consistency all season secured him the points to seal the title with an event to spare.

Meanwhile, the title fight in the rest of the classes will go down to the wire in the season finale.
In the junior’s class, Ashraf Mbabazi came on top followed by the current class leader Ramathan Mubiru. Jonathan Katende was third.
Malcom Lubega topped the MX85 class with Jonathan Muhindo in second. Fortune Sentamu was not fortunate enough as he finished third overall. He still stays top of his class standings.
MX65 class produced one of the tightest of races on the weekend with the Obote brothers; Akaki and Akena going neck on neck with Jeremiah Mawanda.
However, it was Apollo Milton Akaki who swept all heats followed by Mawanda with Akena in third.
Another tight fight came from the MX125 between rivals Ali Omar Yasser and Alestair Blick throughout the three heats. Omar proved more faster as he topped the class with Blick finishing second. Sharifah Kateete finished third.
Fatuh Kiggundu won in MX2 to brighten his chances for the class title defense. He was followed by Hakim Kamstra and Isma Mukiibi in third place.
Barak Orland topped the veteran class followed by Rodrigo Oliveira and Pieter Pelser in second and third respectively.
The Orland brothers; Aviv and Stav once again had the crowds in praise of their pace and skills on the bike.

The brothers made the highlight of the day when they took on the MX1 class riders in the first heat. They edged currently MX1 champion Maxime Van Pee, Asaf Natan and others to the heat win. Aviv won the heat with Stav in second.
