The curtain will come down on the 2018 National Rally Championship when the Oryx Energies Elgon Rally rolls on November 9-11 in Mbale.
The main focus will be between three crews; Ronald Sebuguzi, Susan Muwonge and Jas Mangat who are vying for this year’s NRC title.
Sebuguzi currently leads the championship with 340 points, Muwonge in second with 315 points while Mangat lies third with 305 points.
With the crews all aiming for this year’s honours, whoever finishes ahead of the others will very likely be crowned the champion.
While Muwonge is in the chase for her second NRC title, Mangat and Sebuguzi will strive for their fourth NRC titles.
Several crews including Hassan Alwi, Duncan Mubiru, Christakis Fitidis among others will spice up the season finale.
The event will cover a total distance of 176.62km consisting of five stages on day one and four stages on the final day.
