FUFA Big League debutants Kiboga Young Football Club continues with the fairy tale run since their days in the Buganda regional league.
Kiboga Young out-witted Kigezi 1-0 at the Kabale Municipal Stadium during a Uganda Cup round of 64 tie on Sunday.
Moses Wafula Makoyani was the hero for Felix Kawooya Ssekabunza’s coached side.
Kiboga Young now qualifies for the round of 32 and will eagerly await the draws for that stage.
Meanwhile, Kumi based Admin ejected FUFA Big League side Doves All Stars 3-1, BUL eliminated Mbale based club Kataka.
Gulu’s U-Touch out-muscled Mvara Boys 4-3 in post-match penalties following a one all draw in normal time.
Kyetume beat UPDF 3-1 in a battle of two FUFA Big league sides. Top tier sides Tooro United, Bright Stars, Onduparaka, Nyamityobora and Kirinya-Jinja S.S also won their respective games.
Tooro United edged Entebbe 2-0 at the Buhinga stadium with Baker Buyala and Steven Omvia on target.
Bright Stars humbled Kazo Excel 4-0, Onduparaka won 2-0 away to Busia Young, Nyamityobora earned a 3-1 victory away to Mid Land in Kumi and Kirinya-Jinja S.S triumphed 2-0 over Mbarara Football Club.
The rounds of 64 matches continue on Christmas eve with three matches.
Proline entertains Soroti based Light S.S at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.
Wakiso Giants face Vision at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Jinja and Kira United will play St Mary’s at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
