Godfrey Walusimbi has parted way with Kaizer Chiefs.
The Premier Soccer League side announced via their social media platforms that the Uganda Cranes international has opted to leave the club after a few months.
The 29-year-old left-back joined Amakhosi in August 2018 on a three-year deal which would end on 30 June 2021 but his stay at the South African club has lasted only five months.
His epoch at Cape Town City only restricted him to 13 games since 2018 (11 in the PSL, with one apiece in the Telkom and Nedbank tournaments
Walusimbi has in the past played for SC Villa in Uganda, CS Don Bosco of DR Congo and Gor Mahia in Kenya.

There is something that is fundamentally wrong with Ugandan players. Not a single one can successfully complete a professional stint. Unless FUFA and all the concerned parties address this disease, we are going no where. Sincerely, if a Ugandan player is not comfortable in South Africa, where will he ever be?
In another story, we saw Kateregga being loaned to Maritzburg United. These players should never bother to go outside if they are not ready.
I am so disappointed but of course not surprised.
What do you want FUFA to do? Some time you just want to yuuuuuuup like a Fish asking for water when it is the lake? Next you will start attacking Magogo that he needs to help professional players? Did FUFA help Obua, Onynago, Odongkara, Miya, etc to keep at their clubs?
