Norman Ogik is optimistic he will score many goals at his new club Wakiso Giants after getting on his debut.

The Purple Sharks new signing from Police FC was a nightmare for the Amuka Bright Stars defence on Thursday and scored the third goal as Wakiso Giants won 3-0 at Bugembe.

“It’s a pleasure scoring on my first game,” Ogik told Kawowo Sports. “It wasn’t easy as we started the game with pressure but later settled,” he added.

I believe in my abilities and I am looking forward to scoring more goals for the club.

The hosts, leaders of the Elgon Group were superior in the first half but missed quiet a number of chances before they broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute.

Ogik who was at the end of some good opportunities says missing is part of football.

“Football is about everything. Scoring as well as missing chances like it was in the first half but we were patient.

Ogik joined fellow new signing Yasin Mugume, Clinton Kamugisha and Ivan Kiweewa who netted on their first appearances for the club.
