Charles Ssansa is looking forward to carry on his achievements from last year into the new season.
Ssansa was among the successful drivers in the Two-wheel drive category last season. It was his second year of rallying in the class.
He finished second overall in the Two-wheel drive category, with six rally finishes out of the season’s seven rounds.
As the season kicks off this weekend in Mbarara, Ssansa feels confident that past success will spur him.
“Last season was great for us. We hope to do much better this season as we fight to the title.
“We are well prepared, the car is in shape with a new engine. And that is all we needed to be ready for the season,” he said.

Ssansa believes that lessons from the last season will be vital in his pursuit for the 2WD title.
“Last year I learnt so many things I didnt know about. Changing co-drivers also taught me a few things. I at least learnt something from each of them.
“I am going to apply whatever I picked from last season to guide me as we fight for the title,” he added.
Ssansa drives a Toyota Corolla with Robert Katabalwa calling the pace notes.
The crew will have Sadat Negomba, Timothy Gawaya as the main title rivals.
