Reigning National Rally Champion Susan Muwonge is geared up for the defence of her title.

‘Super lady’ will lead over thirty crews as she goes off as car number one on the road at this weekend’s Mbarara Rally in western uganda.

Muwonge says she is more than ready for the challenge ahead.

“We are all prepared for the season. Expect me to be even more aggressive this season. I am taking this as an opportunity to prove to people that my championships were not by mistake.

“I am looking forward to opening the stage. I am not in anyway afraid of being car number one and am sure everything will go as planned,” she asserted.

Susan Muwonge and co-driver Edmond Kyeyune claimed the 2018 championship with a stellar performace all year.

“Last season, confidence influenced my performance. I was so confident about everything ahead of an event. That is why everything went to our plans,” she adds.

Muwonge’ consistency together with the breathtaking pace placed her well for last season.

In the seven rounds last season, Muwonge centered a performance within top five (with four podiums), except for one event in Jinja.
