  • Kigezi 1-2 Bukedi

A hard fighting Karamoja side suffered defeat, falling 1-0 to visiting West Nile at the St Daniel Comboni Primary School in Kotido district.

Brian Ade, a student at Uganda Christian University (UCU) scored the price-less goal in the 83rd minute moments after replacing Express forward Brian Umony.

At the Kabale Municipal Stadium, home side Kigezi lost 2-1 to Bukedi with the Owori entity on target for the visitors, who have now won two goals.

Douglas Timothy Owori and David Owori of BUL and SC Villa respectively netted the two goals for Bukedi.

There were two goal-less draws when Teso hosted Bugisu in Soroti and Rwenzori’s home duel with Busoga as Sunday’s four duels only produced four goals.

Rwenzori goalkeeper Isaac Onyango Kwizera was named the man of the in their goal-less home draw with Busoga.

Teso, Busoga and Bugisu remain win-less after two games.

Sunday’s games marked the successful completion of match day two.

On Saturday, a total of 11 goals had been scored with Lango’s 3-0 home win over Ankole in Lira producing the most goals.

Tooro condemned Kampala to their second consecutive loss, winning 2-0 in Kabarole.

Defending champions Buganda won 2-1 away to Sebei in Kapchorwa.

Meanwhile, Acholi defeated Bunyoro at the Kigaya play ground in Hoima.

Match day two produced a total of 15 goals in eight matches.

This tournament can be played by all Ugandan footballer regardless of level they are playing at the moment.
