She Corporate woes of failing to score goals this season continued over the weekend as they hosted Lady Doves.

The two teams settled for a goalless draw in the game played at MUBS Arena in Nakawa on Sunday.

The team coached by Ali Zzinda has scored only eight goals in eleven games played despite adding three strikers in the mid-season transfer period.

In a boring game, the only realistic goal scoring opportunity came in the 10th minute when Lady Doves’ striker Veronica Lilian Zeddy was denied by the woodwork.

The result meant Lady Doves cemented their stay in second position on 23 points and need only two points in the remaining three games to qualify for the playoff stage.

She Corporate also remained third on 16 points.

Asubo Gafford Ladies got a relegation lifeline with an emphatic win against fellow relegation candidates Rines WFC.

Midfielder Anita Nabirye scored the lone goal of the game to help Gafford move out of the relegation zone now on 11 points in 6th place.

Rines now drop to the red zone with three games to the end of the season.

Bottom-placed Dynamic SS put up a stunning comeback to get a point against Ajax Queens in a six-goal thriller.

Despite starting the game with only nine players, Ajax comfortably led 3-1 at halftime with goals coming from Mary Pira, Maureen Afoyo and Phiona Nabbumba.

However, goals from Sarah Babirye, Mary Nankya and Daphine Nalubowa scored for the visitors.

This was only the second point that Dynamic SS were picking this season.

In Elizabeth group, Uganda Martyrs High School brightened their chances of getting to the playoffs with maximum points in the two games played.

After winning 1-0 against Lango Queens on Friday, Uganda Martyrs returned to action on Sunday and won with the same scoreline against Olila High School in Soroti.

Prossy Nalwoga scored the priceless goal to help the Lubaga based team move to second place on 22 points, one above Olila and Kampala Queens.

Group leaders UCU Lady Cardinals earned a walkover against already relegated Bugiri Town View SS to maintain their pole position on 24 points.

The top two teams in each group qualify for the playoff stage where the champion is determined.
