Both sides needed penalty shootout wins in the playoff semifinals but that won’t matter as Kyetume and Kansai Plascon seek to gain promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
They face off at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo at 2:00 pm in a bid to get the third team to be promoted after Wakiso Giants and Proline who topped Elgon and Rwenzori Group respectively.
The two Mukono based sides have experience on the pitch and playing staff with former Cranes skipper Jackson Mayanja and promotion specialist Allan Kabonge in the dugout for Kyetume while Angelo Lonyesi is the man in charge at Kansai Plascon.
On the pitch, Robert Ssentongo, Patrick Ochan and Vincent Kayizzi have loads of experience for Kyetume while Osman Mutumba, Allan Oryek and Desmond Kyobe offer same for Kansai Plascon.
Meanwhile, Wakiso Giants, Elgon group winners with 41 points will play against Proline (Rwenzori champions with 42 points) at the same venue to decide who will be crowned the 2018/19 StarTimes FUFA Big League champion.
