The Uganda Cranes team arrived in Cairo, Egypt on Monday evening for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Clad in black suits, white shirts, and yellow ties, Uganda Cranes delegation set foot on Egyptian land, at Cairo International Airport by 7:30 PM (local time).
The delegation of over 35 people was warmly received by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) protocol team.
They were accorded a special plaque by the Egyptian Airports Authority before checking in to board the state of art official team bus.

The Uganda Cranes had landed moments earlier aboard Egypt Air from Abu Dhabi where the team had staged a three-week training camp to further gel and harness their skills.
Moments later, they were received by the FUFA advance team led by the third vice president Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, apparently the leader of the delegation.
The team is accommodated at the lavish Radisson Blu Helipolis in Cairo city.

Meanwhile, midfielder Ibrahim Sadam Juma will return home on Tuesday from Abu Dhabi.
Juma was among those players who did not make the cut but remained in camp just in case of any eventualities.
The 2019 AFCON will be Uganda Cranes’ 7th time of participation.
Uganda kicks off the campaign on Saturday against the Democratic Republic of Congo at the Cairo International Stadium during match day two.
The other group A opponents include Zimbabwe and hosts Egypt.
