Pyramids Football Club finally confirmed the signing of Ugandan midfielder Abdul Lumala.
The Egypt Premier League side did confirm Lumala’s arrival on their Twitter account with a picture of him signing on dotted lines.
The Ugandan international joins the Egypt big spenders from Sweden’s Kalmar FF but the details of the deal remain undisclosed.
Lumala caught the eyes of Africa in the Africa Cup of Nations recently in Egypt and reunites with Sebastien Desabre who gave him his debut on the Uganda Cranes team.
He is expected to make his debut against Etoile Du Congo of Congo Brazzaville in the Caf Confederation Cup on Friday, August 9.
Pyramids finished the season third on the log with 70 points, ten adrift of champions Al Ahly.
