Management of Uganda Premier League club BUL Football Club has sacked head coach Peter Onen, alongside three of his back room staff.

The affected include the assistant coach Ali Kheri Hussein, goalkeeping coach Abdul Kigenyi and the long serving technical director Frank “Video” Anyau.

Bul fOOTBALL CLUB and Peter Onen plus three other technical staff namely Kheri Hussein Ali (Assistant Head coach), Frank Anyau (Technical Director) and Abudul Kigenyi (Goal keeping coach) have today January 25, parted company by mutual consent.

The development comes barely 24 hours after the disappointing elimination from the Uganda Cup against West Nile region club, Mvara Boys.

Mvara Boys ejected BUL out of the Uganda Cup at the round of 64 following a 4-2 post match penalty victory as normal time had ended one goal apiece.

BUL has lost three matches in the league since the start of the second round, falling away 1-0 to Bright Stars, 3-1 at home to URA and lately 2-0 away to Maroons at Luzira.

The latest elimination from the Uganda Cup at the round of 64 was the igniting factor at hand.

The club will name Onen’s replacement in the coming future meanwhile trainer David “Tilliika” Kiwanuka and academy coach Kenneth Magada carry the mantle for the time being.

By the time of their departure, BUL FC was in 5th position on the 16 team log with 29 points.

The next game will be against Wakiso Giants this Wednesday, 29th January 2020 at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
