Ivan Kirabo and Ronald Musajjagulanyago will be in the spotlight on Saturday afternoon when Rhinos take on their former club Kobs in the opening matchday of the 2021 rugby season.
This derby match will be played away from Legends Rugby Grounds at Kings Park Stadium after it was moved due to the unavailability of the former.
Kirabo has been preferred for flyhalf to last season’s captain Arnold Kizza who has been pushed to the bench. Musajjagalunyago is at eighth-man and will provide the much-needed experience and physicality at the back of the scrum.
Stephen Kinyera and Francis Mukundane will have an uphill task in the front row against the heavy Kobs pack led by Collins Kimbowa.
Rhinos will look to put up another impressive performance against Kobs, having denied them the winning bonus point last season.
Kobs, on the other hand, will want to kickstart their title winning campaign with maximum points against the largely depleted outfit.
Kickoff is at 4pm.
