  • Rugby Africa Women’s Cup Pool C – Kampala, Uganda
  • Sunday, July 18, 2021 – 1 p.m.: Uganda vs Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe Women Sables team to tie the two-test series against Uganda Lady Rugby Cranes has been named.

The spine of the squad has largely been maintained apart from a change in the halfback pairing. Captain Constance Netsai Ngwende shifts to scrumhalf from flyhalf and will pair with center Delight Dananai Mukomondo.

Zimbabwe had a strong start to the match played on Wednesday afternoon but was unable to convert their possession into points. They were unable to breach the Uganda defence all day and ultimately suffered a 41-00 defeat. Zimbabwe’s objective will be to increase efficiency when they enter Uganda’s red zone.

On the other hand, only one change has been made to Uganda’s squad for this match.

The match will be played at Kyadondo Rugby Club behind closed doors and will be broadcast LIVE on Kawowo Sports YouTube channel.
