AFCON 2021 hosts Cameroon will take on Comoros on 24th January 2022

AFCON 2021 Finals: Round of 16 Full Fixtures:

  • 26th January 2022: Mali Vs Equatorial Guinea
  • 23rd January 2022: Burkina Faso Vs Gabon
  • 23rd January 2022: Nigeria Vs Tunisia
  • 24th January 2022: Guinea Vs The Gambia
  • 24th January 2022: Cameroon Vs Comoros
  • 25th January 2022: Senegal Vs Cape Verde
  • 25th January 2022: Morocco Vs Malawi
  • 26th January 2022: Ivory Coast Vs Egypt
  • 26th January 2022: Mali Vs Equatorial Guinea

Following the completion of all the group stages at the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon, the boys have been sieved from the men as the roundof 16 stage comes knocking.

The final 16 countries that remain in the competition were all determined.

Burkina Faso face Gabon on Sunday, 23rd January 2021 in a contest of two West African countries.

On the same day, three time champions Nigeria (champions in 1980, 1994 and 2013) shall face the 1994 AFCON hosts Tunisia.

On Monday, 24th January 2022, Guinea plays debutants The Gambia and hosts Cameroon shall lockhorns with another debutant Comoros on the same day.

The next set of matches comes on Tuesday, 25th January 2022; Senegal face Cape Verde before Morocco squares up with Malawi.

The final two games at the round of 16 will see Ivory Coast up against 7 time winners Egypt (1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010) on Wednesday, 26th January 2022.

Another all West African affair wil see Mali play Equatorial Guinea.
