Paul Kiwanuka has expressed Soltilo Bright Stars’ readiness to face URA as he returns to the dugout at the club for a third stint.
The coach was part of Fred Kajoba’s coaching staff before managing the club on his own saving them from relegation in 2019/20 on his full stint as head coach.
He returns with the Stars languishing in relegation zone in 14th place with 11 points and have won just two games so far.
The game could have been played earlier but was postponed due to URA’s Caf Confederation Cup engagements early in the season.
“We have had six days of preparations for this game,” said Kiwanuka. “But all in all, we are prepared and the boys are ready to fight for all points because the position is not where we have to be,” he stated.
Bright Stars will miss the services of Emmanuel Loki, Andrew Kyambadde and Warren Bbule through injured.
URA who sit 7th with 22 points after 13 games won their last outing 2-1 against KCCA and will need to win to keep pace with the leading pack.
Cromwell Rwothomio returns for the tax collectors after missing the win over the Kasasiro and will partner with Steven Mukwala and Joackim Ojera for goals.
