Theme: ”Better life outcomes start with a good education! Make it Happen for Rural Youth”

After a year-long absence (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), the annual Kyotera women’s health run returns with the 2022 edition.

There are three categories for this run that include the 5KM for both gender, 10 KM (men and women) as well as 15 KM for exceptional participants.

This run is organized by DROTY (Dreams of The Tropical Youth) Uganda under the theme: ”Better life outcomes start with a good education! Make it happen for rural youth”.

DROTY Board chairperson Brother Simon Peter Wabwire confirms that the preparations have already taken shape to have a tranquil event.

This year, we shall run to show our total and continued support to keep the Rural Girl Child in School. We shall raise more material and financial resources with a purpose of committing them to creating an enabling learning environment. We would like to raise more awareness on the community’s responsibility to keep the Girls in school to enable them realize their dreams. I am glad to inform you that the Kyotera Annual Charity Run is back. This time round, the annual run comes unique, after the lifting of the Covid-19 restrictions.

The run is scheduled to take place on 8th March 2022 at Kyotera in commemoration of the International Women’s Day.  

The corporate family including businessmen and women, private individuals are all urged to register.
