Nakawa based She Corporate FC will hope to get the new season underway on a good note as they host Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga on Sunday at MUBS Playground.

The Sharks despite having formidable squads on paper, have always flattered to deceive over the years any the League continues to be an elusive target.

The new season definitely means another attempt at getting the crown and a perfect start would perhaps give them momentum in the subsequent games.

However, so much as changed at She Corporate including having a new coach. Issa Hassan who has been serving as the goalkeeping coach has now been elevated to the head coach role, replacing Ali Zzinda.

In the playing unit, the team has lost some players but equally gone on to sign several players.

Captain Vanessa Karungi moved to Denmark at the end of last season, defender Bridget Nabisaalu rejoined UCU Lady Cardinals while Janat Thungu quit football.

The club has however, welcomed back goalkeeper Fatuma Matovu and midfielder Naome Nagadya. They have signed Daphine Nyayenga, Sharon Apon and Grace Nassongo among others.

Uganda Martyrs on the other hand have also made several changes but the biggest arrival being Lady Doves captain Daisy Nakaziro.

Nakiziro comes as a direct replacement for Nyayenga. The other new arrival is winger Elizabeth Nakigozi also from Lady Doves.

They have equally lost a host of players including skipper Gloria Namugerwa, Spencer Nakacwa, Harima Kanyago and Nyayenga among others.
