Marvin Ofoyrwoth is a promising football player and an S5 student at Aga Khan High School in Kampala.

He is currently undertaking PEM/ICT subjects and at the same time pursuing a career in football.

On how he balances the demanding education schedule with the football program, Ofoyrwoth elucidates how he does it;

“During school times, I only train during the week-ends and in holidays, I follow the Academy training schedule” he explains.

He is a keen admirer of Uganda Cranes captain Emmanuel Arnold Okwi and French footballer Kylian Mbappé Lottin.

“I want to train well and be like Okwi (Emmanuel). He is my role model domestically. I like the way he plays and scores. Internationally, I like Kylian Mbappe so much” Ofoyrwoth reveals.

The forward is blessed with strength, blistering pace, agility and an odd eye for the back of the net.

He currently trains at Olympia Sports Academy, situated at the Africa Bible University in Lubowa, off the Kampala – Entebbe Highway.

Ofoyrwoth is the first born child in the family of three to Fred Onyai and Cissy Leleru.

His younger brother Matthew Jalar is also a member at Olympia Sports Academy.

Early life:

Ofoyrwoth was born in Nebbi, West Nile region on 8th July 2003.

He held his elementary education at Marigolds Early Learning Center in Ntinda.

He then had his entire primary education at Aga Khan Primary School (P1-P7) before joining Light Secondary School – Kigo for O-level education.

Ofoyrwoth is currently studying at Aga Khan High School, in S5.

His best dish is a well cooked meal of rice and steak with water.

The toughest opponent he has ever faced is Darren Kakuru, a teammate at Olympia Sports Academy.

His best match ever played was Olympia Sports Academy’s massive 7-2 victory Kampala Saints Academy during a warm up duel.

Big Dream:

Like many budding footballers, Ofoyrwoth has a vivid dream of playing for the Uganda Cranes as well as playing professional football.
