Henry Kalungi Foundation donates to Bulemeezi Community

Henry Kalungi Foundation continued its charity work in the new year with a trip of over 40km to Bulemeezi in Luwero on Monday.

As it has been a tradition to give to these distant communities, the foundation, spearheaded by Uganda Cranes defender Henry Kalungi took to the villages to extend a hand of support.

The team of close to 20 volunteers donated foodstuffs, clothing, sports gear and dined with the community not forgetting the cake-cutting with the little ones.

All activity in the village came to a standstill as the members gathered to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Prayers first before heading over for meals and then a later donation of material from the foundation was the agenda of the day.

This year’s gesture was grander than all the previous ones with what seemed like a continuation of the Christmas party the foundation held at Buganda Road Primary school for the underprivileged.

Henry Kalungi Foundation’s mission is to raise up generations in love, hope and purpose, through outreach, education, and empowerment to positively and sustainably impact the community.
