Entebbe Club hosted the first golf tournament in 2023, dubbed as the Katogo Invitational. Entebbe Club will host a number of tournaments throughout 2023 with the signature Singleton match play challenge teeing off in February until August.

Katogo Invitation Social:

  • Overall winner: Andrew Atuhaire & Herbert Kamuntu (Sheema Boys) – 680 Nett
  • Runners up: Kiwanuka Ssubi & Timothy Mwandha (Tulibalamu) – 695 Nett
  • 2nd Runners up: Marvin Kagoro & Oscar Semawere (Fearless Bandits) – 712 Nett
  • Guest Pair: Joseph Nkurunziza & Joseph Galiwango (Jojo) – 696 Nett
  • Piga Mingi: Haruna Nyanzi & Jonathan Bakwega (Wadawa) – 1722 Nett

Entebbe Club hosted the first golf tournament in 2023.

It was an internal golf championship dubbed as the “Katogo Invitation” social at the 1901 founded lake side golfing facility.

The Sheema Boys pair won the overall title with a total of 680 nett.

This team was composed of Andrew Atuhaire and Herbert Kamuntu.

Kiwanuka Ssubi and Timothy Mwandha (Tulibalamu) came second with 695 Nett, ahead of the Fearless Bandits team (Marvin Kagoro and Oscar Semawere (712 Nett).

The pair of Joseph Nkurunziza and Joseph Galiwango (Team Jojo) were the most outstanding guests with 696 Nett.

Haruna Nyanzi & Jonathan Bakwega (Wadawa) scored 1722 Nett to be declared the Piga Mingi pair.

Entebbe Club will host a number of tournaments throughout 2023 with the signature Singleton match play challenge teeing off in February until August.

Other notable championships at the club will include the Entebbe Ladies, Entebbe Open, national team qualifiers, among others.
