Sarah Agena

Sarah Ageno last played in the National Basketball League during the 2019 season with the UCU Lady Canons.

Then, she was one of the best players in the country despite losing back-to-back finals to JKL Lady Dolphins.

After leaving Lady Canons she joined Ubumwe (now REG) in Rwanda but her stay was cut short by Covid-19 and a knee injury.

The power forward returned home and took time off before joining JT Jaguars in Division Two last year. At the time, that was the best decision for a player who had been out for long as the intensity is not as much as it is in the NBL.

“I’m so excited to play in the NBL once again,” Ageno told Kawowo Sports.

“I trust the players I have, they are so competitive, aggressive and ready to play [and] face whatever comes their way.”

JT Jaguars will start the season against Nkumba Lady Marines on Saturday, 25th March.
