MTN Golf Monthly Tee Tournament (July 2023)
- Overall winner: Allan Muhereza – Handicap 7 (68 Net)
It is now a known routine that golfers from the different clubs in the country have to converge in Entebbe every last Saturday of the month to swing, chip (approach) and putt to glory into the pin for the MTN Golf monthly tee tournament.
Such was the case for July 2023’s last Saturday as a collection of 151 golfers were involved in the day-long tourney financed by telecommunications guru, MTN Uganda.
As early as 6:30 AM, the early bird group was around the practice greens for the final rehearsals at this par-71 lake side golfing facility that is decimated by numerous dog-leg fairways.

By close of business, Allan Muhereza, playing off handicap 7 scored 68 net to topple the rest of the field in action.
Muhereza was rewarded his trophy at the 19th hole in the aftermath celebrations as the golfers and guests wined, dined and danced off the day fatigue.

Jude Ochieng (handicap 10) won group A men (0-12) with 69 net.
Ochieng was head of Peter Apell (handicap 9) who scored 71 net.
