The football fraternity has been covered by a dark cloud upon receiving the sad news of the passing away of Raymond Timothy Komakech.
Komakech has been serving the game of football as the head coach of FUFA Big League side, Ndejje University Football Club.
Komakech passed on from a kidney failure and the sad news were made public on Wednesday evening.
“With profound shock we announce that coach Komakech Raymond Timothy, Ndejje University FC Head Coach and staff in the ICT Department has departed from this life,” the stament partly reads.
“The late has been battling with a kidney problem for the passed three years. His death occurred today evening at Kiruddu Hospital The send off arrangements will be communicated at a later stage.”
Komakech has also been part of the ICT department of Ndejje University and his demise leaves such a big void.
The gaffer has natured a number of young talents and he will be remembered for the great brick laid on to the development of the game of football in the country.
