Vipers Sports Club forward Yunus Sentamu has dedicated his stunning strike against Wakiso Giants to friend Hajj Hassan Hood Ssekatawa.
Sentamu scored a cracker of a goal as the Venoms beat the Purple Sharks 3-0 on Tuesday night at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
After the game, Sentamu went to X (Twitter) and dedicated his first goal of the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season to Ssekatawa who is also the president of KOSA League.
The performance against Wakiso was probably Sentamu’s best thus far in the season as he could have easily netted a hattrick as he was denied by goalie Ssekagya and the crossbar.
Next up for Sentamu and Vipers is a visit to struggling KCCA FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium on Friday, November 10.
